There are normally a few boats for sale along the canal. If you are interested in buying (or selling) a boat along the canal the best place to look is on the notice board at Paper Mill Lock, which normally has details of 3 or 4 boats for sale. Sometimes boats themselves will have a 'for sale' notice on their windows.   If you are interested in keeping a boat on the canal, contact Hugh Turner (the Moorings Manager) on 07910 558465, during week days, or one of the lock keeper at Heybridge basin during the evening and weekends.
