In July 2011 Elessina received the following attention:-

Hull Repaint 2011 Replacement Batteries 2010

The mast, wheelhouse, hatch and rear window were all sanded down and given 4 coats of marine varnish. All of the hardwood was in good order. The softwood roof rails were found to be rotten and both were replaced.   Rear view of rotten soft wood roof rails     Rotten Soft wood roof rails     New Roof Rails Also the rear window softwood quadrants were replaced with hardwood quadrant.   New Hardwood quadrant The base of the wheel house door panels were also found to be softening.
