PRM500 gearbox with trolling valve (enabling infinitely variable prop turn (clutch) at low revs via joy stick). This makes slow approaches into locks etc. much easier.

Powerful Vetus Bow Thruster, with weed hatch / inspection. Also weed hatch in stern for prop.

Fischer Panda 4.5ND Diesel Generator (installed in engine room). It has seen very little use (11 hours).

Solar Panels, 2 x Kyocera 130W 12V panels (connected via 24v controller to main battery bank)

Large Traction batteries (12 x 2v x 920ahr each). Separate engine and generator batteries.

Heating; Central heating using Webasto or generator. Bubbles flame effect diesel stove in lounge heats up all of front cabin in coldest of weathers. Engine can also be used to heat radiator in wheel house when cruising.

Water heating; via Webasto or Shore line electric, or generator or engine.

Electrics; Victron Phoenix Multiplus 24/3000/70 combi. 240v, 24v and 12v circuit breaker panels. With cruising in mind, there is low energy LED lighting, and low energy 24v fridge and freezer plus 2x 24v Sanimarine loo’s. Ample 240v sockets allow hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, TV’s, extra lighting etc. to be used at any time. During spring to Autumn the solar panels are powerful enough to run the fridge, freezer, lighting and some TV.

The roof and front screen are hydraulically lowered (see video on web pages). Rear screen is hinged down, sides are lifted out from butt hinges. Air draft approx 10’-6” up and approx 7’-6” down. Construction; Steel Hull and Superstructure (12/10/8 – 7/6/4)

Upon delivery from Piper Boats the barge met the RCD Category B (offshore) requirements.

Ill health has had to make us re-think of our plans to take her over to Europe and live on board. Hence a very reluctant sale.

Because of our circumstances, arranging viewings is going to be difficult for us at the moment, so please read all these page thoroughly and only ask for a viewing if you are seriously interested in buying her and have funding available for an immediate purchase.

Always happy to answer any query by email, whether interested in buying or just casually looking
