A little about us

Painting the boat was one of the most time consuming jobs undertaken. With help we managed to just about sand down, prepare and apply one coat in a day. The hard work is in the preparation and cleaning. We applied 4 coats of International Yacht Primer, two coats of blue undercoat (the 2nd a mix with top coat), and two coats of International Toplack. We are very pleased with the result, she looks good, and the paint is still sound 18 months later. I think it will be good for at least another 18 months. We had Isabella lifted out at the end of the 1st year, and applied 3 coats of International Intertuf Coating to the bottom sides. She was in need of this coating, and was already starting to go a little rusty along the water line. On reflection I should have paid extra for additional Intertuf coats, this would have saved the crane out costs.

The boat was purchased with just one coat of prime paint

Now with 4 coats of prime paint.

Now with 2 coats of Green International Toplack and gold Vinyl signwriting, scrolls and coach stripes are applied.
