The Shell Specification was simple, as Liverpool boats have a printed 'sailaway'
specification. I wanted to confirm some of the details and wrote to them
as follows:-
With reference to our visit to your works on Friday
22nd October 1999 and telephone call on 25th
October 1999. We would like to place an order for a 35ft Sailaway narrow
boat, as per your ‘Sailaway Specification’ dated January 1999,
including:-

Beta 20hp 3cyl diesel engine BD722

Hardwood doors installed to both front and
rear, glazed to front.

Cruiser type, with rounded stern.

Window positions as per Pacific 35 drawing,
dated 6/2/98

Fully welded rubbing strakes
