The 2006 main UK DBA (The Barge Association) was held at Beale Park on the River Thames, concurrent with the IWA National Waterways Festival and Boat Show. We had 31 members barges rafted up on the lake. Sunday 27th August was Visitors day, whereby those DBA members with barges at the show, willing to show other members around their barge / home did so. There were many hundred members who took the opportunity of looking over other members barges. A very successful day. Some barge photos below:- |
