After a bad start, loosing their first 3 games, Thurrock's Mayor and Mayoress came along and gave their support and encouragement, sufficient for Thurrock to win all their last 3 games, against Southend, (9-4), Colchester and Tendring (11-7) and Braintree and Uttlesford (7-6) Thurrock ended up a credible 4th place, and all the girls participating, though tired, thoroughly enjoyed themselves. |
